Bioi remember when i was a little girl,like three or four, sitting on my front porch swing with my mom and looking up at the stars. it was one of those times that stands out forever in your mind as truly perfect. we were pointing to different stars and giving them names and life stories and such. i crawled onto my moms lap and pointed to a star. "do you see that one", i said to her. "yeah," she replied, "what about it?" i looked her in the eyes and then turned back to the star and said, "i'm not from here, and someday you'll understand." that christmas i got the greatest gift i have ever recieved from anyone, a certificate of registry for my own personal star. to this day i don't know why i said it, i think that it was one of those amazing gifts that God puts in children to remind the world that there's so much more to life than whats around us. and i think it sums up my life perfectly.
